Who is Faith Leya?
I am a Miami – based content creator aspiring to inspire others to pursue what excites them in life, whether that be traveling the world, moving to a new city, or risking it all for their dreams. It took me 10 years to discover my passion, and if you have yet to find yours trust when I say when the time is right it’ll be the epiphany of a lifetime, a feeling I’ll never forget.

I was raised by the name I was given, Faith. Never to doubt or ask how because it is all about believing, you don’t know how it will happen, you just know it will. Faith and ambition lead my life, and I encourage you to take that leap in yourself because you’ve got what it takes.
What is your professional background?
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism from Pennsylvania State University and began working in Marketing. During my years in the industry I specialized in campaigns for travel and retail companies such as Sandals and Beaches Resorts, Wal-Mart, Tassimo, Arthur Schuman, and Horizon.
In April 2019, I decided to leave the corporate world to travel and fully invest my time and efforts towards building my brand through content creation. In my eyes, if I plan to dedicate 50 years to a career, I want it to be something I would live, eat, and breathe every moment of every day and it still not feel like work. Now, my days are dedicated to the visual storytelling of my adventures abroad and inspiring others to pursue their passion.

When did you begin traveling?
I only recently began traveling in mid 2017 and have been fortunate enough to visit 15 countries. I would say my love for travel started once I landed a marketing position in the industry. My advice for those who want to combine their career with travel is to look for a job within a cruise line, airline, or hotel/resort company. Additionally, it is always an added bonus to find someone who shares your same passions. When my boyfriend Kris and I met in ’17 we discovered our shared love for creative travel and made it our priority. As a result, we experienced seven countries and 14 cities within the first year and a half of dating.
