Volcano Boarding
Location: León, Nicaragua
Okay thrill seekers, if you’re looking for something more exciting than sandboarding, let me explain the insanity of volcano boarding. Cerro Negro (Black Hill), is a 160+ year old active volcano in Nicaragua that takes a 45 minute hike to conquer. Once you’ve made it to the top, it’s time to slide or surf your way down at 30-60 mph speeds on a wooden board. Now that’s an unforgettable thrill.
